The way mine mounted was the 2 through bolts go in, then I removed the footpeg from the original mount and remounted this outboard of the HH units. There is a bolt that goes in from the inside of the frame, as well. I also had to remove the original shift lever from the unit as well, which leaves a peg sticking out, but it is hardly noticeable. Hope this helps.
